Ukrainian guerrillas report heavy Russian losses in Pokrovsk sector
Russian troops suffer heavy losses during their offensive in the Pokrovsk direction of Ukraine's Donetsk region
The Atesh guerrilla movement, created by Ukrainians and Crimean Tatars, reported this information on August 20.
According to Atesh, a Ukrainian partisan within Russia’s 15th Separate Guards Motor Rifle Brigade reported that Russia has allocated significant forces to assaults in the Pokrovsk direction.
“Russia’s rush to capture Pokrovsk is causing them severe problems. The Russian 15th Brigade is suffering heavy losses - large numbers of personnel and equipment are being deployed, but when equipment fails, soldiers lose coordination, leading to chaos and increased casualties,” the statement said.
Mothers and wives of Russian invaders are writing letters to Russian President Vladimir Putin, asking him to address the situation. However, they are only being advised to contact other authorities, as noted by the Atesh movement.
