It seems that announced Russian offensive is concentrated only on Bakhmut - Ukraine’s national guardsman
Volodymyr Nazarenko, deputy commander with the Freedom Battalion, says the Russian troops continue to concentrate large forces to seize Bakhmut
He said this on Espreso TV.
“It seems that all this hype about the spring offensive of mobilized Russian cannon fodder is happening now in Bakhmut. The enemy suffers heavy losses every day. If you count, yesterday 20 Russian invaders were killed in one of the areas. The Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminate more than 500 occupiers along the entire frontline every day. I'm not talking about the wounded. Therefore, if we calculate how many Russians they have mobilized for the war, then at this rate they will be enough for several months,” Nazarenko said.
The deputy commander of the Freedom Battalion believes that Russians are concentrating large forces in the eastern direction.
“We, the soldiers and officers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, are closely following the statements and information from the General Staff that there is a threat of an offensive from the north and Zaporizhzhia. However, we also see information that there is no large accumulation of Russian troops for a large-scale offensive. That's why we believe and see that the enemy has concentrated all the remnants of its forces in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions,” he added.
