Israel in state of severe shock after massive rocket attack - journalist
Israeli journalist Sergei Auslender says that the scale of the catastrophe caused by Hamas' attack on Israel is not yet clear
He said this on Espreso TV.
"So far, the shelling seems to have subsided. The center of the country is hardly shelled. Mostly they are firing in the south, at the settlements near Gaza, I understand they are being shelled with mortars. But these attacks are already there by inertia, as they say. So far, there is a call for reservists in Israel. I just drove past a bus stop, there were a lot of people with reserve-looking weapons. Israeli artillery and aviation are working on targets in Gaza. It is not yet known what exactly is being bombed and shelled there," the Israeli journalist said.
He noted that the country is in a state of severe shock. The scale of the catastrophe is not even clear yet, but there is no doubt that it is a catastrophe, because it has not happened for decades.
- On October 7, a massive rocket attack from the Gaza Strip hit central and southern Israel. This resulted in casualties.
