In Luhansk region, doctors successfully managed childbirth under enemy fire, - Gaidai

This was announced by  head of  Luhansk Regional State Administration Serhiy Haidai with reference to  Department of Health of  Luhansk Regional State Administration.

According to preliminary data, on April 19, thanks to  professionalism and coordinated actions of military and civilian medics of  Lysychansk City Hospital, a 17-year-old resident of Gorsky was able to give birth to a healthy boy.

It is reported that  girl's childbirth began just during another mortar attack on the city by  Russian occupiers.

Thanks to the efforts of military medics,  girl was urgently taken by ambulance to Lysychansk maternity hospital.

Despite enemy fire, a team of doctors immediately began a caesarean section, which resulted th birth of a healthy boy weighing 3,150 g and 50 cm tall.

Currently, condition of child and the mother is satisfactory.
