I hope EU will provide Ukraine with everything it needs for winter - MEP Andrius Kubilius

Ukraine's energy system is on the verge of collapse due to constant Russian shelling. That is why one of the most important needs of Ukrainians is power generators that could be used during blackouts. Member of the European Parliament Andrius Kubilius said that after discussing Ukraine's needs for the winter with the Ukrainian authorities, he understood that the country needs about 25,000 power generators. So, he expressed hope that the European countries will be able to help Ukraine and provide it with everything it needs.
Answering the question about what will change after the tragedy in Przewodów, he said: “I think NATO will strengthen air defense along the eastern border. But I think that NATO should strengthen the Ukrainian borders and airspace as well.”
