American M142 HIMARS missile systems significantly affect the war in Ukraine.

RBC-Ukraine shared the news with reference to the Pentagon press service.
A senior military official said during a briefing at the Pentagon that HIMARS have an indirect but significant impact on front-line operations.
"I think that HIMARS have a significant impact on the war in Ukraine. The Armed Forces of Ukraine use them to strike at ammunition warehouses, command posts and control centers of the Russian army. And all these things have a direct impact on the ability to conduct frontline operations," American military said.
The M142 HIMARS system can launch packages of missiles with precise guidance at a distance of up to 80 km. The US has already provided Ukraine with eight systems and last week announced the transfer of four more missile systems.
