Head of OSCE arrives in Kyiv: program of the visit
Foreign Affairs Minister of North Macedonia Bujar Osmani, who recently assumed the post of head of OSCE, arrived in Ukraine on January 16. During the visit, he, in particular, visited Borodyanka, Kyiv region
He reported this on Twitter.
"Just visited the devastated areas in Borodyanka, the destruction is heartbreaking. These Russian attacks caused immense suffering for the Ukrainian people and there are no excuses for these actions. My thoughts are with those whose lives have been severely disrupted," the OSCE Chairperson wrote.
In the morning, Osmani announced his arrival by train to Kyiv.
"After a nine hour long trip by train, we arrived in Kyiv. Looking forward to productive meetings with Ukrainian leaders to discuss ways to strengthen security and stability in the region and helping people on the ground," head of OSCE wrote.
