Harpoon missile system can destroy Crimea bridge, cut peninsula off from Russia - military expert Kyrychevskyi
Defense Express military expert Ivan Kirichevsky said that the Danish Harpoon coastal missile systems could destroy the Crimean bridge and cut off the Russian-occupied peninsula from the Russian Federation
The expert shared details live on the Espreso TV channel.
"Coastal versions of the Harpoon anti-ship missile systems have the option of hitting ground targets. Even if just a part of the road and railway are destroyed, the bridge will lose its use because it will not work as a transport artery," Kirichevsky said.
The military expert added that the Crimean bridge is currently the only transport route connecting the occupied Crimea with the rest of the Russian Federation.
"Currently, the Crimean bridge is the only artery that connects the occupied peninsula with the so-called mainland Russia. In this case, not only will the logistics of the Russian occupation forces be cut off, but the occupants and collaborators themselves will not be able to leave Crimea," Ivan Kirichevsky said.
