Great Britain will provide Ukraine with thousand additional surface-to-air missiles

Ben Wallace, British Minister of Defense, stated on Wednesday, November 9.

Wallace said that the UK will soon complete the delivery of approximately 1,000 additional surface-to-air missiles to Ukrainian Armed Forces. This was a response to Ukraine's requests to strengthen air defense capabilities. These missiles will play a vital role in ensuring Ukraine's air defense and protecting its critical infrastructure, which is constantly being targeted by Russia.

Missiles can be used in combination with available means of Ukrainian Armed Forces. Equipment consists of launchers and missiles and is capable of shooting down aerial targets, including Russian drones and cruise missiles.

"This commitment to deliver hundreds more surface-to-air missiles continues our defense support to Ukraine against Russian aggression and will help Ukraine counter the threat of illegal targeting of critical national infrastructure", Wallace said.
