Ukraine's Foreign Affairs Ministry reported the information.
Ukraine sent flour to Gaza with the support of the World Food Program. The flour has already been used to bake bread, which is being distributed to families in need. The bread is enough to feed 100,000 people for a month.
"Ukraine plans to deliver another 6,000 tons to Palestine in the near future," the Foreign Ministry added.
For reference. Grain from Ukraine is a humanitarian food program launched by the President of Ukraine on November 26, 2022. The program aims to help overcome the humanitarian and economic consequences of the global food crisis caused by the Russian-Ukrainian war.
- On July 18, it was reported that Ukraine sent 1,000 tons of wheat flour to the Gaza Strip as part of the Grain from Ukraine program. This is the first of three shipments that Ukraine will deliver to Palestine.
