It is known that the Gepard anti-aircraft self-propelled artillery can fire 35 mm shells at a rate of up to 1,000 rounds per minute. In real conditions, it fires in short bursts adapted to the target. Previously, the systems manufacturer trained Ukrainian soldiers in Germany on how to use the systems.

In July, Germany also provided Ukraine with 3 M270 MARS rocket launchers. In addition, 10 PzH 2000 self-propelled howitzers and 10,500 shells for them were handed over to Kyiv in the summer.
Currently, Germany's military aid to Ukraine is estimated at USD 1.2 billion.
