Germany initiates meeting of G7 FMs to support Ukraine's energy system
Germany has initiated a meeting of the G7 Foreign Ministers to consider how to support Ukraine amid constant damage to the power grid as a result of Russian missile attacks
German Minister of Foreign Affairs Annalena Baerbock wrote about this on Twitter.
“Putin likes to plunge Ukrainians into cold and darkness using missiles. But he will never break both your thirst for freedom and our support. Next week in Bucharest, as the country presiding over the G7, we will invite our partners at the level of foreign ministers, to initiate further support for the supply of electricity in Ukraine,” Baerbock tweeted.
She called Russian strikes on civilian infrastructure an inhumane crime that cannot be tolerated.

According to her, fortunately, the democratic parties of Germany made a joint decision after February 24: to be on the side of Ukraine and Ukrainians. Baerbock thanked the people of Germany, who are also feeling the consequences of the war, in particular due to rising prices, but are ready to continue standing by Ukraine.
