Experimental Kh-101 missile shot down over Kyiv region — Military expert Zgurets
Defense Express analyst Serhiy Zgurets reported that on May 1, an experimental Kh-101 missile was launched by the Russians and targeted the Kyiv region
Zgurets shared this on the Espreso TV channel.
"The Russian military launched a red-colored missile identified as Kh-101 over the Kyiv region today. These missiles are experimental, serving as prototypes for the Russians to test various improvements in their weaponry. Hence, I believe that this Kh-101 missile is already being studied by our research institutions. It will provide valuable insights into Russia's efforts to enhance its missile capabilities," explained Zgurets.
The analyst emphasized the effectiveness of Ukrainian air defense systems against Russian missiles.
"Presently, the Russians are actively attempting to locate our most powerful air defense systems. They have initiated a pursuit of our air defense systems. However, our Ukrainian air defense systems are successfully intercepting and neutralizing Russian missiles that pose a threat to our security," he added.
