“In December 2024, on the territory of the aggressor state of Russia, 9 units of railway rolling stock were destroyed as a result of fires, which the enemy used, in particular, to transport weapons and ammunition,” the statement says.
The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine published a list of destroyed equipment:
- one diesel locomotive 1TE116 and two electric trains EP2D (Moscow region);
- two electric trains VL-80 (Ryazan region);
- one SM-2 locomotive and 1 AGS-1Sh car (Tyumen region);
- one electric locomotive VL-80 (Rostov region);
- one UTM-2M diesel locomotive (Sverdlovsk region).
