Exhibition of paintings by Maria Prymachenko, saved from Russian missile attacks, opens in Kyiv
On September 21, an exhibition of paintings by Maria Prymachenko, saved following Russian missile attacks, has opened in Kyiv
Ukraine's Ministry of Culture and Information Policy wrote about this on Telegram.
The exhibition "Maria Prymachenko. Saved" opened in Kyiv - 14 paintings are displayed for the first time since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
It will be possible to visit the exhibition from September 22 to 25 at the National Center for Business and Cultural Cooperation "Ukrainian House" at 2 Khreshchatyk Street.
During the opening, two architectural projects were also presented: the restoration of the museum in Ivankiv and the creation of an artistic residence in the village of Bolotnia, where the house of Maria Prymachenko has been preserved.
"The local authorities, together with the Kyiv Military Regional State Administration, will submit to us the documentation regarding the restoration of the museum, as it is very necessary to do it before winter. We will transfer certain funds from UNESCO for the restoration of the museum. We always, when communicating with our foreign colleagues, cite two examples when the Russians targeted objects of culture. This is a museum in Ivankiv and a museum in Skovorodynivka. We have definitely restored the picture of life and we know in what way they hit these museums," Oleksandr Tkachenko, the Ukrainian Minister of Culture and Information Policy, said.
