European Council extends work of advisory mission to Ukraine until 2027
On Tuesday, May 14, the European Council extended the mandate of the EU Advisory Mission Ukraine (EUAM Ukraine) until 31 May 2027

The EU Council made the statement.
It noted that the mission provides strategic advice and practical support for specific reform measures in line with EU standards and international principles of good governance and human rights, in particular in support of Ukraine's EU accession commitments.
EUAM also advises, trains and supports relevant Ukrainian partners, such as the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and the National Police of Ukraine.
EUAM Ukraine has field offices in Kyiv, Lviv, Odesa and a mobile unit. At the same time, the field offices in Kharkiv and Mariupol are currently inactive.
- The EU Advisory Mission for Civilian Security Sector Reform in Ukraine was launched on December 1, 2014.
