The South Korean TV channel SBS reported the information.
The delegation is reported to have requested the purchase of weapons from South Korea, rather than seeking them as a donation. The request included Cheongung anti-aircraft missile systems, along with other air defense equipment like radar systems and artillery shells.
According to reports, the South Korean government stated that exporting weapons to Ukraine is challenging as it could violate foreign trade laws that restrict exports to conflict zones.
Furthermore, the South Korean government stated that, due to high demand and existing export commitments, the delivery of Cheongung systems would not be possible before 2030.
