157 combat clashes erupt on Russia-Ukraine frontline, Russia launches nearly 4,800 strikes

On November 27, 157 clashes occurred on the Russian-Ukrainian front, with heavy fighting near Pokrovsk and Kurakhove. Russian troops are also active in Kupyansk and Vremivka directions

Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff reported the information as of 8:00 a.m. 

A total of 157 combat clashes were recorded over the past day. According to updated information, Russia launched 21 air strikes on Ukrainian troop positions and settlements, dropping 39 guided bombs. Additionally, Russia carried out nearly 4,800 attacks, including 154 with multiple rocket launchers, and deployed 1,672 kamikaze drones.

Thirteen settlements were struck by Russian air strikes.

On the Ukrainian side, aviation, missile troops, and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces conducted two strikes on areas where Russian troops and weapons were concentrated.

Frontline update

In the Kharkiv direction, over the past day, five Russian attacks on Ukrainian defense positions were registered near Vovchansk and Tykhe.

In the Kupyansk direction, 17 Russian attacks were recorded. Ukrainian defense forces successfully repelled offensive actions near Kolisnykivka, Zahryzove, Zelenyi Hai, and Kruhliakivka.

In the Lyman direction, Russian forces launched four attacks, focusing their main offensive efforts near Hrekivka, Novoiehorivka, and Torske.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Russian troops attacked once in the area of Bila Hora.

In the Toretsk direction, Russian forces carried out six attacks near Toretsk, actively using bomber aircraft, dropping up to ten guided bombs.

In the Pokrovsk direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces stopped 37 Russian offensives near Myroliubivka, Promin, Lysivka, Dachenske, Zhovte and Chumatske.

In the Kurakhove direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces rebuffed 39 attacks. Russian forces concentrated their main efforts near Sontsivka, Berestky, Kurakhove, Dalne, Yelyzavetivka, Antonivka and Hanivka.

With the support of aviation, in the Vremivka direction, Russian troops attacked Ukrainian positions 18 times near Trudove, Kostiantynopolske, Rozlyv, Rozdolne, Sukhi Yaly and Novodarivka.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, Russian forces launched six attacks on Ukrainian positions. However, they faced a strong counterattack and suffered losses.

No signs of Russian offensive groups forming along the Belarusian border have been observed. 

On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the Russian army is using artillery and aviation in the vicinity of Ukrainian settlements.

The operation in the Kursk region continues. Ukrainian defenders beat back 18 Russian attacks over the last day.

  • Since the beginning of the day on November 26, 143 combat engagements have been registered along the frontline: 31 of them took place in the Pokrovsk sector and 25 were repelled by Ukrainian troops.
