The Foundation founded by the legendary British musician allocates USD 125,000 through UNITED24 for medical equipment to help patients with HIV and AIDS
This was reported by the head of Ukraine’s Ministry of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov.
"His charitable foundation is allocating USD 125,000 through UNITED24 for the purchase of 10 biochemical blood analyzers. They will help provide quality treatment to people living with HIV and AIDS. I thank Sir Elton for his support of Ukrainians and his faith in UNITED24," the statement reads.
In April, Elton John took part in the Stand up for Ukraine campaign, when celebrities from all over the world called for help for Ukrainian refugees.
In June, he stopped his concert to draw the audience's attention to a Ukrainian woman with a blue and yellow flag.
