State-owned Energy Company of Ukraine imported non-commercial amounts of electricity from Romania in a test mode for two hours

This was announced on the website of the state-owned Energy Company of Ukraine trader.

Electricity was imported from Romania on November 27 with a capacity of 1 MW at 9 am and 2 pm. As stated in the press release, the company acquired the right to import electricity at the auction of Ukrenergo on November 24.

“The import of electricity can become an additional tool for stabilizing the energy system of Ukraine. Test supplies are needed to check the technical feasibility of importing electricity from Europe, if necessary,” the message states.
