Due to limited traffic on Crimean Bridge, Russian trucks go through Mariupol - Andriushchenko
Petro Andriushchenko, the adviser to the mayor of Mariupol, said that the Russian forces use the city as part of their logistical route to Crimea
Petro Andryushchenko shared the information on Espreso TV.
"Russian forces use Mariupol for their logistic purposes. The land corridor through Mariupol, which they dreamed of, is now working. As for civilians, there is no movement in either direction. Since October 27, the Russians have banned trucks from crossing the Crimean Bridge. Therefore, they all go through Mariupol," Andriushchenko says.
The adviser adds that Russian soldiers are repairing roads in the occupied territories of Donetsk region.
"40 ton trucks would not pass through Mariupol before. This has always been prohibited. Now the Russian military does not shy away from driving through the city. These large vehicles even cause traffic jams. That is why the Russian occupiers are repairing and restoring the road from Novoazovsk to Crimea. Roads are also being repaired in the occupied territories of Donetsk region," he adds.
