Defense line that occupiers build in Kherson region will not be useful to Russian army - Zgurets
Serhiy Zgurets, director of the information and consulting company Defense Express, believes Russian plans to defend the land corridor to Crimea
He shares his opinion live on air of Espreso TV channel.
"Actions of Russian army are aimed at trying to build three lines of defense on the left bank of Dnipro river with a length of about 200 km, with an interval of 15-20 km between each line. Russian occupying forces expect Dnipro river to be crossed by Ukrainian Armed Forces, although I do not think that we will cross the river. But we'll see if Russian troopswill continue this line in Zaporizhzhia region", Zgurets noted.
According to the expert, Russian enemy is trying to concrete defense lines and defend land corridor to Crimea as long as possible.
"Russian enemy is building defenses at a fairly fast pace, but this does not mean that this line of defense will be useful to Russian army. There are options to minimize the effect of Russian occupying forces defense with the help of weapons", Zgurets emphasized.
