Decision to transfer combat aircraft to Ukraine depends on NATO, but no agreement yet - Polish Prime Minister
Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki stated that Ukraine has full support from Poland, but the decision to transfer combat aircraft to AFU remains with NATO
Mateusz Morawiecki said this in an interview with Corriere della Sera.
When asked whether it was worth sending F-16s to Kyiv, the Polish prime minister said: "Ukraine has our full support, including long-term support. Poland has already given Kyiv a lot of military equipment. As for combat aircraft, the decision is up to NATO. There are currently no such agreements."
In particular, Mateusz Morawiecki claimed that defeating Russia is "both a Polish and European raison d'être". He suggested that one of the conditions for Russia's return to civilized countries in the future is its "deputinization."
