Crimea's Emergencies Ministry says 9 apartment buildings and 70 private buildings were damaged by warehouse explosions near Dzhankoy

"We have information about 9 damaged multi-apartment buildings and about 70 private houses. The data is being verified," said the message with reference to the head of the department Serhiy Sadakliyev.  According to him, "the work will be started in full after demining and investigation."

Sergey Aksyonov, the self proclaimed, Russian-backed head of Crimea,  reported on his Telegram channel that the buildings of the secondary school and the administration of the settlement were also damaged in Travnevo.

The publication reminds that two people were injured as a result of the explosions. A 5-kilometer perimeter zone has been isolated.  About 3,000 people were evacuated. As a result of the detonation, a section of the railway in the north of the peninsula was damaged. It was restored within a few hours, but this led to train delays and rerouting.  Damage was also caused to power lines and an electrical substation.  The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation called the event sabotage, the prosecutor's office opened a criminal case.
