Collaborators flee city that is new key node for Russian forces in Kherson region - political scientist Molchanov
Invading Russian forces are building a new defensive line around Borozenske village, Kherson region, but collaborators have already fled, which may mean that the line will collapse
Volodymyr Molchanov, a political scientist from Kherson, told about this on Espreso TV.
"Collaborators fled not only from the liberated territories. They took out 25 collaborators from 32 liberated villages after the resumption of the counteroffensive. They also fled from Borozenske, which is a key node of the new Russian defense," he said.
According to Molchanov, a line runs from the village towards the Kakhovka Reservoir, where the Russian forces built a line of pillboxes along the road to Milove, and along the line of villages they built fortified positions towards the village of Bezimenne.
"They are trying to hold on to this line. Without Borozenske, no long-term defense is possible there. Escape is a possible sign that in a few more days their entire structure will crumble. They have withdrawn their hospital from Beryslav," Molchanov concluded.
