China may help Russia with aircraft and attack drones – Defense Express expert Kyrychevskyi
There is a prospect that China will start producing ‘kamikaze’ drones for the Russian Federation, and will also give previously purchased aircraft back to the Russians
Defense Express expert Ivan Kyrychevskyi shared the statement on Espreso TV.
"Russia has something to offer China in return. In October 2021, the Russian Federation and China signed a contract for the production of 30 K-52 modification deck helicopters. The Chinese need such weapons, in particular to prepare for an invasion of Taiwan. There is no progress on this contract in open sources," he said.
According to the expert, Russia is "slowly but surely" crawling to at least support China in a possible aggression against Taiwan.
"On the one hand, because of the 'peace plan,' China has no direct interest in giving Russia everything it needs, and on the other hand, using Russia as a tool to weaken Ukraine and, in theory, other Western countries is beneficial to the Chinese. It is unlikely that China is interested in Russia as a raw material appendage. There are first prospects, we can already expect that the Russians will have analogues of Chinese-made "mopeds" (attack drones – ed.) There is also talk that China is ready to provide components for Su aircraft; they have one and a half hundred of these Russian aircraft (Su-27, Su-30MKK, and Su-35). Given that these are not very good planes, it is quite possible that the Chinese are ready to give them all back," Kyrychevskyi concluded.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin said that China is not considering supplying Russia with lethal weapons and accused the United States and NATO of spreading lies about Beijing's role in Russia's war against Ukraine.
