Center for Combating Disinformation defines main narrative of Russia, which is promoted by propagandists
The Center for Combating Disinformation noted that Russian mass media are actively promoting a new narrative on November 9
This was reported by the official Telegram channel of Center for Combating Disinformation.
"Washington may reduce military aid to Kyiv due to public pressure," propagandists write about the supp termination of support from the United States.
The Central Committee notes that, in fact, the United States has provided more weapons, financial support, and other assistance than all other NATO allies. In general, we are talking about more than $60 billion since February.
"Politicians who made statements about the reduction of support justify their decision by the fact that their NATO allies are not at all that active in supporting Ukraine in practice. The same narrative about focusing attention on domestic problems in the US helped the Republicans gain a majority in Congress. We can not say that everything will radically change with the arrival of the Republican Party, given that the majority of Republicans still support aid to Ukraine," writes the Center for Combating Disinformation.
It is known that the results of the midterm elections in the U.S. are now being announced. Currently, the Republican Party is leading the House of Representatives in midterm elections in the United States. According to preliminary data, 199 Republicans and 173 Democrats are entering the House of Representatives as of 2:43 p.m. (Kyiv time). The total number of seats in the House of Representatives is 435.
Now there is a struggle in the Senate. If Democrats lose control, Republicans will be able to block President Joe Biden's agenda. It is known that as of 2:43 p.m., 47 Republicans and 46 Democrats are entering the Senate.
One of the key races for control of the Senate is in Nevada. There, Democratic Senator Catherine Cortez Masto is really close to her Republican opponent, Adam Laxalt.
State officials predict the final results could take several days because they are swamped with thousands of mail-in ballots and will take time to count.
