Blocking Ukraine border is blunt politics designed for interim period — Polish politician

He said this on Espreso TV. 

"The Polish authorities are criminally neglecting not only the interests of Ukraine, but also Poland itself. Last year, exports of Polish products to Ukraine increased by 55%. This year, in three quarters, these exports have grown again by 25%. Ukraine is ranked 8th among the countries to which Polish products are exported. So who are these blockers hurting? Clearly, not only Ukraine, but also Poland. Of course, only Russia will benefit from this," Czech emphasized.

According to the journalist, yesterday the newly appointed Minister of Agriculture of Poland met with people representing a certain farmers' organization.

"These farmers have achieved the point where they will receive additional payments for corn and preferential loans for fuel. What does Ukraine have to do with it? And transportation to Ukraine? Farmers should be doing fine, there is no Ukrainian competition anymore. In fact, this is all crude politics designed for intergovernmental conflict in Poland. Everyone understands that if Ukraine falls, the Baltic countries, Poland, and the Czech Republic will be next. In addition, the organizer of the border blockade is a pro-Russian force," he added.
