Biden hints that Ukraine has 300 km range missiles, international expert Kraiev says
Oleksandr Kraiev, an expert of the Ukrainian Prism Foreign Policy Council, believes that political changes in the US will not affect support for Ukraine
He said this on Espreso TV.
“Today, Biden commented on the arms that are being supplied to Ukraine, the aid to Ukraine, and the election. He said that he hopes for further support from Congress. In his statement, Biden said that HIMARS is a weapon that has several types of missiles. These include a missile that hits a target at 600 miles distance and a missile that hits a target at 160 miles range. The US has not handed over those with the 600 miles range, because these missiles can hit the Russian Federation's territory. And two months ago, we were told that it is not possible to transfer missiles to Ukraine with a range 160 miles,” Kraiev explained.
According to the international expert, if you quote US President Joe Biden, you get the impression that long-range missiles have already been handed over to Ukraine.
“In Biden's statement, which is still unofficial, there was a hint that Ukraine already has received missiles with a range of 160 miles, which is more than 300 km. This is the request that our General Staff sent to the Americans a few months ago. And we really need this, both in the southern and eastern directions,” Kraiev emphasized.
