Biden should withdraw from presidential run to solve more important tasks - Piontkovsky

Political scientist Andrey Piontkovsky believes that Joe Biden should refuse to participate in the presidential election, as he is facing a much more important task - the victory of the United States and the free world in the world war

He expressed this opinion on the Espreso TV channel

"It is obvious to me that the two missions that Biden has now undertaken, or rather that fate and history have entrusted to him, - the Commander-in-Chief of the US Armed Forces of World War IV against the forces of absolute evil and the Democratic Party candidate in the elections - contradict each other. Because the left-liberal side of the Democratic Party, half of its voters, are against Israel's victory and against victory in Ukraine. They belong to the Voralche, which professes the guilt of American imperialism towards the oppressed peoples of the world, etc.", Piontkovsky explained.

The political scientist noted that Biden should take on the role of a world leader and lead the fight against dictatorial regimes

"Every day, political technologists come to Biden and say that our votes have slipped among Muslims, among the African population, among liberals, among young people, so we need to make some kind of anti-Israeli pro-Hamas statement. This is impossible. Therefore, it is time for Biden to declare that he is withdrawing from the presidential election. Because he has a much more important task ahead of him - the victory of the United States and the free world in the world war. And he is focusing all his efforts on this task. Otherwise, he will have to continuously curl up to his left-liberal wing and thereby doom the United States and its allies to defeat," he concluded.

  • On 21 November, The Hill reported, citing research by the Harvard CAPS-Harris Poll, that the latest US polling data showed a moderate increase in Joe Biden's support rating for the presidency, as voters gave him high marks on economic growth and job creation.
  • On 30 November, Reuters reported that the Democratic Party has no "plan B" if Joe Biden is unable to run in the 2024 presidential election for any reason
