Arestovych promotes Kremlin narratives, theses - communications expert
Advisor to the President's Office Oleksiy Arestovych uses his speeches to promote Russian propaganda theses, in particular regarding the Ukrainian language
This was stated on the air of Espreso by communication expert Oksana Baylo.
"In the last interview of Arestovych (Youtube channel "Khodyat Sluchy"- ed.), the narratives of Russian propaganda were heard. This is a very dangerous thing when we hear it from a person who represents the Office of the President and has a large army of supporters among Ukrainians and has trust," she stressed.
According to Baylo, he is now promoting very dangerous narratives that sound one in the same as on Russian channels.
"The most dangerous thing he said in the interview is a story that is pure distilled propaganda about the Ukrainian language. As if three western regions imposed their narratives on the east. This is straight from the Russian propaganda manual. These are the same theses. He also said that the language law, which Ukrainians had been waiting for a long time, was idiotic and almost directly said that Russian should be formally or informally the second language. To say about allegedly some kind of oppression of Russian speakers. These are very dangerous narratives that we constantly hear from the Kremlin according to their methods," the expert concluded.
