AFU have advantage in Luhansk region; important plan soon to be implemented
Yuriy Fedorenko, commander of the 112th Territorial Defense brigade, deputy of the Kyiv City Council, adviser to the defense committee, says that fierce fighting takes place at the contact line
He shared the information with Espreso TV.
"Due to the weather in the Luhansk region, it is not possible to implement the general plan in the quickest and most efficient way at this time. Fierce battles continue in some directions. As a result of these battles, the Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to destroy Russian equipment, artillery and manpower. Everyday we destroy the enemy," Fedorenko noted.
According to the commander, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have an advantage at the Luhansk bridgehead.
"Now the initiative is on the side of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. With the accumulation of military equipment, we will be able to implement the general plan and take the important logistics centers of the Luhansk region. And this will happen soon, not half a year in the future, but in the coming months. Fierce battles are ongoing near Kreminna. The enemy is trying to strike our positions with artillery means, in small groups they are searching weak spots in the defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. But they get defeated and return to the base lines with losses," Fedorenko added.
- As of December 26, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are fighting Russian troops near Kreminna. Meanwhile, the Russian command has already relocated to Rubizhne.
