7 torture chambers, 8 places of detention are found in Kherson region - Ukraine’s police
The National Police of the Kherson region have discovered another 7 torture chambers and 8 places of detention, where the occupying Russian forces kept more than 300 people in one isolation cell
Andrii Kovanyi, Acting Head of the Communications Department of the National Police's Main Office in the Kherson region, said this during a media briefing.
“Currently, 7 torture chambers and 8 places of detention have been found in the de-occupied territories. Three torture chambers and one place of detention are directly in Kherson itself. Another four torture chambers and seven places of detention are in the Beryslav district. But these are not all. These are only those that I can speak about as a policeman,” Kovanyi said.
The law enforcement officer emphasized that more than 300 people were detained in just one torture chamber in Kherson. This data may not be final, because the number is growing.
