278 citizens remain missing in Kyiv region - Head of the National Police Niebytov
The Head of the Main Department of the National Police in the Kyiv region, Andriy Niebytov, says that as of March 3, 2023, 278 civilians remain missing in the Kyiv region
He shared the information on Espreso TV.
"Today we already know about 1173 civilians killed in the Kyiv region under the occupation of the Russian army. Yesterday we received information about the temporary burial of 3 citizens in Borodyanka. This was reported to us by a local resident who managed to bury the dead during the occupation and leave for the safe territory of Ukraine. Until now, he was in western Ukraine. However, he returned and informed the National Police about the temporary burial," said Niebytov.
The head of the National Police of Kyiv region also said that more than 278 people remain missing in the region.
"I report that 3 bodies of civilians were found in Borodyanka on March 2, they have not yet been identified. These are male civilians. Preliminary, one of them is a 50-year-old local resident who was abducted by the occupiers and shot dead. Two other men, according to witnesses, were also shot. I also want to inform that 278 civilians in the Kyiv region remain missing, " he added.

On March 2, another civilian grave was discovered in Borodyanka. During the exhumation, law enforcement officers recovered the bodies of 3 men, one of whom was shot by Russian soldiers in a car, the other 2 have not yet been identified.
