200 bodies of Ukrainians killed by Russian occupiers remain unidentified in Kyiv region
In total 1,367 bodies of civilians were found in de-occupied territory of Kyiv region after Russian army’s retreat
In the Kyiv region, the bodies of 200 Ukrainians who were killed by Russian invaders are still unidentified.
This was announced by the head of the police of the Kyiv region, Andrii Nebytov, during a briefing.
"The bodies are buried, but under the appropriate number, if they are unknown...According to the procedure, DNA tests are taken and placed in the database. Then, if any person requests to find a relative, DNA is taken and compared," said Nebytov
Based on the results of the examination, relatives are given information about where the body is buried. At the request of the relatives of the deceased, the head of the Kyiv region’s police clarified that the deceased can be reburied.

At the end of October, the exhumation of the largest graves was completed and 146 bodies of dead Ukrainians were discovered in the de-occupied town of Lyman, Donetsk region.
