100 guns would make possible significant advances in Izyum direction - Svoboda Legion fighter
Heavy artillery and matching ammunition are required at the front in the Kharkiv region, according to a soldier with the Svoboda Legion.
Ruslan Andriyko, a fighter of the Svoboda Legion of the National Guard, said this on Espreso.
He told what the Ukrainian army needs in the Izyum area.
"In the first place, heavy artillery and ammunition for it. We are talking about at least 100 guns handed over to us by the Western allies. This would make it possible to advance significantly in the direction of Izyum. We are talking about tanks, which play a very important role, and there are not enough," Andriyko said.
The military added that armored vehicles, howitzers, and MLRS are also needed.
"Heavy armored vehicles are essential here, a significant part is still of Soviet production. Its accuracy and quality are very questionable. We understand the realities, we are fighting with what we have, and even in these conditions we are gradually moving forward, saving the lives of personnel, managing to free several villages," he concluded.
