White House says Ukraine plans new counteroffensive — FT

However, any new offensive by Ukrainian troops in 2025 will depend on increased funding from Congress and the approval of the White House, the Financial Times writes.

The assistance package for Ukraine

The U.S. House of Representatives approved a $95 billion aid package for Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan on April 20, 2024.

On April 24, U.S. President Joe Biden signed a $95 billion package of bills to help Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan and to confiscate Russian assets under a shortened procedure, which had been approved by the Senate earlier in the day.
