"Now it seems to be obvious that we need to advance in the direction of Melitopol, Berdiansk, and Mariupol. But behind this obviousness there must be a plan that will not allow Russian troops to take advantage of the deep defense they are trying to build on this section of the frontline," Zgurets said.

According to the expert, the Zaporizhzhia frontline has begun to revive.

"Our military are already conducting raids there, reconnaissance by combat, and strikes deep into enemy territory. The formation period of the future battlefield is already beginning, which resembles the operation to liberate the right bank of the Kherson region," emphasized Zgurets.

• According to British intelligence analysts, Russia has "quietly" declared that Melitopol has become the center of the occupied territory of the region, recognizing that the troops are unlikely to be able to capture the planned targets.
