Zaluzhnyi confirms Ukrainian Armed Forces' missile strikes on air bases in Crimea
Ukraine's Armed Forces are involved in missile attacks on air bases in temporarily Russian-occupied Crimea.
In a joint article on Ukrinform, Commander-in-Chief of Ukraine's Armed Forces Valerii Zaluzhnyi and Lieutenant General, 1st Deputy Chairman of the Defense Committee of Ukraine's Verkhovna Rada Mykhailo Zabrodskyi wrote about this.
"One can discuss the effect on the real center
of the gravity of the Russian Federation in this war. It lies in its 'remote' - in the understanding of most Russians - character. Due to this distance, the citizens of the Russian Federation do not perceive losses, failures, and most importantly - the cost of this war in all its forms so painfully. A convincing example of the correctness of this approach in the current year is the successful efforts of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to physically transfer hostilities to the temporarily Russia-occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. We are talking about a series of successful missile strikes on the enemy's Crimean air bases, first of all, on the Saky airfield. The task of Ukraine's Armed Forces for 2023 is to make these feelings sharper, more natural and quite tangible for the Russians in other occupied territories, despite the significant distance from the goals," the article says.
