"West is interested in destroying Ukraine": foreign fakes for June 20
The Center for Countering Disinformation has published a selection of anti-Ukrainian fakes and manipulations launched by the world media on June 20
This is reported by Espreso.TV.
According to the National Security and Defense Council's Center for Countering Disinformation, on June 20, a fake and manipulation appeared in the world.
Manipulation: The American edition of The National Interest wrote: “Allowing Ukraine to use American weapons to strike targets in Russian territory increases the risk of escalation without meaningfully aiding Ukrainian capabilities.”
Rebuttal: The thesis that allowing Ukraine to use US weapons to strike at Russian territory leads to an escalation of the war is a propaganda narrative aimed at discrediting US military support, as this decision could change the course of events in the war in Russia's favor.
Disinformation: Retired US Air Force Lieutenant Colonel Karen Kwiatkowski said: "The West is interested in destroying Ukraine and creating some semblance of an anti-Russian value system - whatever that is. The media and the current set of Western leaders are interested in this.”
Rebuttal: Such statements are aimed at discrediting the assistance of Ukraine's partner countries and portraying them in an aggressive role not only towards Ukraine but also towards Russia. In fact, it is Russia and its media that are openly trying to destroy Ukraine and impose the values of its rotten "Russian world" on it.
- Russian propagandists are spreading new fake information that France is allegedly discussing the use of nuclear weapons against the Russian army in Ukraine.
