Middle East expert predicts Iranian attack on Israel within two days
Serhiy Danylov, Deputy Director of the Center for Middle East Studies, believes that Iran will begin attacking Israel once General Michael Kurilla, head of the US Central Command, leaves the Middle East
He spoke about this on Espreso TV.
"I believe the Iranian attack on Israel will occur within two days, not just one. General Kurilla (head of U.S. Central Command) has just arrived in the Middle East, and after he leaves, the attack will begin. Tehran is frantically planning how to start it, possibly using more rockets and drones over two days rather than half a day. This is the likely scenario," commented the Deputy Director of the Center for Middle Eastern Studies.
He added that the evacuation is only happening from Lebanon because Hezbollah has not yet decided whether to enter the war alone or to drag others into it.
"The United States is effectively saving Iran by trying to de-escalate the situation while protecting Israel. The Americans need to ensure that each subsequent response is less severe than the previous one. To achieve this, it is essential to minimize the damage to both Iran and Israel. In doing so, the United States is not only saving Iran but also, by default, protecting Israel," summarized Serhiy Danylov.
- On August 4, U.S. President Joe Biden expressed hope that Iran would abandon its plan to attack Israel, despite its threat to avenge the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Ghani in Tehran.
