According to Radio Liberty, speaking at the Globsec security conference in Prague, Hołownia said, “If you ask me whether Ukraine should join the EU despite certain issues, my answer is yes, Ukraine should become a member. However, we will still have disagreements with Ukrainians about Volyn and our shared history.”
He added that these discussions will persist, but they will occur within the “safe ecosystem of the European Union.”
