"The water level in Mykolaiv has risen by 102 cm above the standard level. All services are working in an emergency mode, but none of the city's residents want to evacuate," the mayor said.
Also, the chief of police of Mykolaiv region, Serhiy Shaikhet, reported that a 53-year-old man died in the village of Vasylivka, Mykolaiv region, which was flooded due to the destruction of the Kakhovka HPP. The day before he refused to be evacuated.
"Local law enforcement authorities are conducting patrols on boats to identify people requiring help," Shaikhet said.

According to Sienkevych, as of 09:00 am, the water level in Mykolaiv has not changed.

Flooding situation in Kherson region
Approximately 600 square kilometers of the Kherson region have been submerged, with the right bank accounting for 32% and the left bank for 68% of the flooded area. The average flooding level stands at 5.61 meters.
According to Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson regional military administration, 1,999 civilians have been relocated from the hazardous zones. The largest number of evacuees, 1,495 people, came from the Korabel neighborhood. The State Emergency Service says that as of 08:00 am, 1,995 people have been evacuated, including 103 children.
Furthermore, 334 civilians, including 15 children, were rescued, and 168 Ukrainians received psychological assistance.
Preliminary data indicates that 20 settlements and 2,629 houses have been flooded on the right bank of the Dnipro River.
