Rheinmetall received an order for 20 Marder infantry fighting vehicles for Ukraine from the German Ministry of Defense

"On Tuesday, the company announced at its production site in Unterluss that it had received an order from the Federal Ministry of Defense for 20 Marder infantry fighting vehicles. The vehicles are to be delivered to Ukraine by the end of July," the statement said.
It is noted that by the end of July, the first batch of 10 thousand rounds of 35 mm ammunition for Gepard self-propelled anti-aircraft guns will also be sent to Ukraine.
It is known that Germany has already handed over 40 Marder infantry fighting vehicles to Ukraine. 20 of them belonged directly to the Bundeswehr, while the rest were purchased from Rheinmetall.

The transfer of military materials will be allowed to a country involved in a conflict if that country exercises its right to self-defence in accordance with public international law, does not violate human rights and does not use weapons against civilians.
The parliament noted that the proposal was not intended specifically for Ukraine, but that this issue could be studied during the next stage of drafting the bill.
Ukrainian Armed Forces seize the initiative from the enemy on the battlefield
Captain of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Prozapas noted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are gradually seizing the initiative on the front line.
He said this on the Espreso TV channel.
"The offensive impulse of the Russian army in the Bakhmut direction has stalled. The initiative is gradually passing to the Armed Forces. We are gradually beginning to move forward not only in the Bakhmut sector but also in other areas. I hope that the Russian forces will not have time to regroup and the summer campaign will lead to the same results as last year in Kherson and Kharkiv regions," emphasised Prozapas.
According to the Ukrainian Armed Forces captain, there are tendencies on the battlefield for the Armed Forces of Ukraine to seize the initiative.
"I urge everyone to follow the official reports from the General Staff of Ukraine and keep quiet about the counteroffensive," emphasised Prozapas.
