US will transfer a missile to Ukraine, which American army does not yet have - Serhiy Zgurets
Ukraine will receive an anti-radar missile from the USA, which is secret and not in service with the American army, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will be the first to use it
Poland is the largest donor of tanks for Ukraine
Poland once again demonstrates that it is a reliable partner in the fight against the Russian Federation in our efforts to defeat the enemy. Today it became known that Poland has already sent a large batch of RT-91 Twardy tanks to Ukraine. From February to June, we already received more than 300 tanks from our partners. Of them, 236 were Polish tanks and they were already fighting. Poland itself is waiting for new models to replace the tanks it is handing over to Ukraine - the German Leopard and the American Abrams in the old and newest versions. It is also waiting for the Polonization of the new version of the South Korean K2 tank.
Twardy is a Polish modernization of the T-72. This process took place from 1995 to 2002. A total of 232 tanks of this type were produced. They are equipped with a new fire control system, which has a thermal imager, a laser range finder and a ballistic calculator. All this allows you to see the enemy at a considerable distance and fire more accurately. Also there, the engine was replaced with a more powerful one, which makes the tank more mobile. It is more protected - the tank has a dynamic protection system - it is built on the fact that Polish development is used and the tank is 30-70% more durable than its predecessor.
Why am I talking about dynamic protection? The previous versions of the T-72 tanks that we received from Poland were without it at all. In a short time, we received the dynamic protection module, and these tanks are already fighting at the front and show that the protection is reliable enough. Twardy tanks are more accurate, powerful and protected.
Russia is looking for ways to renew the stock of tanks and drones
To date, 1,700 Russian tanks have been destroyed in Ukraine - this is almost half of the 3,500 tanks that were in combat formation of the Russian army that entered the territory of Ukraine. Now Russian forces are forced to look for any options, pulling out old T-62 tanks from stocks and looking for options to repair or increase combat capabilities, but we are sure that on the battlefield - this will not make any sense.
In addition to tanks, Russia is starting to look for drones. In the reports of the General Staff, it is reported that 719 operational-tactical UAVs have been destroyed to date. This is a colossal number. The Russian Federation had only 1,000 Orlan UAVs and around May 600 of them were destroyed. This means that the artillery of the Russian Federation has no eyes, these drones were basic for reconnaissance of targets on the battlefield and Russia is trying to compensate for the colossal losses from the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Yesterday, everyone was discussing Ukrainian media reports that Russia has completed negotiations with Iran regarding the supply of Shahed 129 missile systems and they are being shipped via the Caspian Sea. If this is true, then we can congratulate the Russian Federation on joining the club of 'elite' countries like Venezuela and Ethiopia. Iran exported its drones there only, and they were neither successful nor well-known. We must understand that Iran has been under sanctions since 1979. Any export of dual-purpose goods there is prohibited. We are not talking about any modern thermal imagers or secure communication systems. It is necessary to understand that any drone is not only a glider that can be shown on video. By the way, Iran has been repeatedly caught in the act of drawing optical stations to drones. To think that such drones can be better than what we already shoot down in large quantities is wrong. According to Western analysis, there are no more than 40 pieces, because other sources indicate numbers of 20-30. The ability to fly for up to 24 hours and a communication range of up to 300 km or more is declared. It is also necessary to take into account its large dimensions - as targets for our anti-aircraft missile systems, it is as common a target as we have on the training ground. Its destruction will not be difficult for the Ukrainian Armed Forces in principle. In actual use it has recorded losses and even against much worse Syrian rebel air defenses, or it goes down on its own as it did on the Pakistan border.
Ukraine will receive a missile that is not yet in service in the United States
Defense Minister Reznikov said that the Ukrainian army will be rearmed with new models, and some of them are described as sensational. Ukraine will receive an anti-radar missile, which is not yet in service. It is not in the list of new military aid from the US for USD 270 million, but there is an interesting thing as additional missiles to HIMARS, but there is no such missile among them either. Since 2018, the development of a special homing head for the missiles used by HIMARS to destroy air defense radars and counter-battery radars has been underway. This development has been financed since 2019 and its completion date is 2023.
We will be the first user and conduct its best tests in the world, and this speaks of the true trust of Washington in Ukraine, because a secret weapon that is not yet in service with the US military is being transferred in order for us to test it on the real battlefield against a country that has a fairly advanced air defense system. This is one of the biggest surprises of this aid package. Also, 580 Phoenix Ghost ammunition should be added here, which are generally classified. Their description consists of approximate characteristics that do not make it clear even the purpose of the ammunition. There are only theories. If this 'bird' can stay in the air for 6 hours and destroy something, then it is already a superweapon. This is the most classified barrage munition used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Ukrainian Armed Forces will learn to drive one of the best tanks in the world - Leopard 2
Another piece of news is that the talks are about the Ukrainian military starting to master the German Leopard 2 tank. These machines were handed over to one of the unnamed countries and training will take place in the Baltics so that when a decision is made on the transfer of the tanks. This is one of the best and most modern models of tanks in the world, which has unique characteristics in terms of combat ability. The ability to fire at a range of up to 5 km on the move is declared for it, and from this range it can penetrate any Russian tank. Its armor allows it to withstand ammunition from 125 Russian guns from a distance of up to 2.5 km. Its competitors can be listed simply on the fingers - this is, for example, the American Abrams. When the transfer decision is made, we will be ready to operate it.
Ukraine is preparing the infrastructure for the transfer of F-16 fighters
Regarding aviation, Reznikov noted that our airfield services have found ways to improve the infrastructure of the airstrips in order to receive Western full-size fighters, primarily the F-16. A strategic decision was made not to look for an aircraft for our specific conditions, but to repair and bring the entire airfield infrastructure into order. This gives a choice of 5-6 aircraft.
German Gepard anti-aircraft guns will not change the situation at the front
You shouldn't expect Gepard to change anything on the battlefield. These are systems from the 70s, it has a fire range of only 3.5 km, which is 1.5 km less than a shoulder-mounted Stinger anti-aircraft missile fighter can do, the Gepard still has radar, and the use of radar on the front line turns the installation into a Christmas tree that is visible to everyone.
Ukraine is defeating Russia with the help of technology, not the number of soldiers
I would also like to mention the barrage ammunition that we are already using on the battlefield. These are Polish Warmates. These UAVs were handed over by a Polish company and they are capable of being in the air for up to 40 minutes and neutralizing Russian forces with the help of different types of warheads - high-explosive and cumulative. By the way, they will be purchased further for the Ukrainian army and now we have a whole range of modern types of weapons that are capable of changing the picture on the battlefield through the use of asymmetric approaches - when we defeat Russia not due to the number of personnel, but with the help of new effective technologies. which we receive from Western partners.
