US satellites can become legitimate targets for strike - new manipulation by Russia
The representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Konstantin Vorontsov, spreads the manipulation that the Russian occupation army can strike American satellites, including commercial ones, which are involved in the war on the territory of Ukraine
A selection of new propaganda fakes was shared by the Center for Combating Disinformation at the NSDC.
Thus, during a speech at the UN meeting, Vorontsov said that "US commercial satellites involved in the conflict in Ukraine can become legitimate targets for a strike."
For his part, Vasily Nebenzia, the Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN, spread misinformation, calling the reports about the use of Iranian UAVs by the Russian Federation a fake: "Taking into account the desire of the West to promote fakes about some drones that Iran allegedly supplies to the Russian Federation, I would like to put all the dots on the "i". At the same time, he stated that the Russian Federation may review relations with the UN Secretariat in the event of an investigation into UAVs in Ukraine.
Propaganda also resorted to a fake. Apparently, former White House employee Paul Craig Roberts said that the Russian Federation prevented the US plan to deprive it of access to the southern seas: "Putin ... understood that the new American puppet government in Ukraine would cancel the lease agreement (of the Black Sea Fleet bases), thereby depriving the Russian Federation of access to the Black Sea and Mediterranean Sea".
