United States will continue to provide historic amount of security assistance to Ukraine - White House
The United States plans to continue providing large-scale assistance to Ukraine to combat Russian aggression
This was stated by the White House spokesperson Karine Jean-Pierre, Ukrinform quotes.
"We’re going to continue doing an historic amount of security assistance (to Ukraine - ed.), as we have done, and to make sure that they have what they need to continue to fight for their democracy and their freedom," she emphasized.
Jean-Pierre added that it is important to make all possible efforts to help Ukraine, not only for the United States, but also for partners around the world. According to her, this remains unchanged.
The spokeswoman also noted that Washington had been informed of Poland's decision to provide Ukraine with MiG-29 fighter jets.
"We continue to work closely with our allies and partners, including Poland, to assist Ukraine," Jean-Pierre emphasized.
