Poland announces terms of MiG-29 fighter jets delivery to Ukraine
Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki says that Ukraine may receive Polish MiG-29 fighters within 4-6 weeks
He said this at a briefing on March 14.
The journalist recalled that Polish President Andrzej Duda had stated that the country was ready to transfer its MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine.
“This could happen within the next 4-6 weeks,” Morawiecki explained.

Earlier, Slovak Defense Minister Jaroslav Naď said that his Polish counterpart, Mariusz Błaszczak, had confirmed the agreement to jointly transfer Soviet MiG-29 multi-purpose fighters to Ukraine. Naď said that at a meeting of EU defense ministers in Sweden, Błaszczak said that Poland would agree to a joint procedure for the transfer of surplus fighters from both countries to Ukraine.
