Ukrainian Armed Forces receive 7 samples of Ukrainian-made drones
The Armed Forces received seven samples of Ukrainian-made drones in 30 days. By the end of the year, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine plans to approve 19 more applications
Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov announced this on Facebook.
"Over the past 30 days, 7 samples of Ukrainian-made UAVs have been accepted for operation in the Armed Forces," he wrote, and he clarified that previously the army accepted 1-2 samples of UAVs per year for operation because the application approval procedure took 1.5–2 years.
According to the minister, the procedure is now very fast. The main thing is that the product has the technical characteristics needed for the military.
"To facilitate interaction with manufacturers, a website has been established where any developer with a ready-made product can apply to the Ministry of Defense for admission to operation of their product. Official admission to operation means that the Ministry of Defense can purchase products, and the Armed Forces can put them into service," noted Reznikov.
"There are currently 19 more applications under consideration for admission to the operation of Ukrainian-made UAVs. We plan to make a decision on them by the end of the year," the head of the Ministry of Defense emphasized.
