Ukraine’s 125th Brigade uses 'kamikaze' drones to make blackout for Russian forces

This is reported by the Regional Directorate of the Territorial Defense Forces West. 

"The soldiers with the 125th 125th Detached Territorial Defense Brigade used 'kamikaze' drones to make a blackout for the invading Russian forces! In particular, the defenders destroyed the transformer that powered the enemy position and the village where the Russian troops were staying," the statement says. 

For reference. The 125th Detached Territorial Defense Brigade is a peacetime formation of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Lviv. The brigade is part of the Regional Directorate West of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. 

The brigade's battalions, together with other units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, participated in the liberation of Ozerne, Dibrova, Yampil, and Torske. On February 10, 2023, a crew of the brigade's Perun air defense system destroyed a Russian Kalibr cruise missile 50 km from Lviv. Since September 2022, the brigade's units have been actively participating in battles in the eastern part of Ukraine.

• The day before, it became known that an assault group of the 24th Brigade had recaptured a spoil heap within Horlivka that had been occupied since 2014.
